CCD launches investigation into Thursday (2) night power failure

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Colombo Crimes Division has launched an investigation into a complaint filed by the Ceylon Electricity Board over a breakdown experienced in Weliwita on Thursday (2) night.

The Chief Engineer at the Ceylon Electricity Board had filed a complaint with the Slave Island Police on Friday (3) citing that the breakdown had caused serious inconvenience to the public and requested a police inquiry to determine if it was an act of sabotage.
